The One Thing

"The One Thing" is a call back to what matters most, being with Jesus before doing for Him. In Luke 10:38-42, Martha is busy serving, distracted by many responsibilities, while Mary chooses to sit at Jesus' feet and listen. Jesus doesn't rebuke service, He reorders priority. The danger isn't serving; it's serving in a way that replaces intimacy. This message calls us to return to the place of presence, where relationship comes before responsibility, and where everything we do flows from being with Him and not trying to prove something for Him.
